  1. Appeal. A court will examine the case and decide if you should be deported or not.


  2. Are you kidding? Why would we do that?

    They broke the law, a punishable offense in their country is death, all we do is send them back, we should be so lucky.

  3. Soda Popinski is right - appealing is the only way to try to stop deportation & for that you will need an attorney. Most immigration attorneys charge between $4,000 and $10,000 retainer fee to take the case - just depends on attorney and location. Regardless, it will have to be proven that there would be a greater hardship if the person was deported than if they were granted permission to stay (i.e. - sole bread winner of house providing for remainder of (American citizen) family members who will end up on welfare and help suck the economy dry, etc.).

  4. Once it has been started, chances are slim that anything will stop it.  Sorry.

  5. Two words: Money & Lawyers

    The minimum retainer for Lawyer to take a deportation case is around 10 thousand dollors to just take the case. The odds are against the deportee.
