  1. i personally would not get a phone for a 13 year old, i would not get a phone for my child unless they were old enough to have a job a pay for the bill themselves it seems that every time i meet someone who got there child a cell phone they always complain about the bill. children this age are to young to have cell phones anyways they don't have anything important to do. now your doing the right thing by not txting that cost a lot of money unless you have unlimited txt messaging.

  2. you really do need to leave the mobile alone. Home phones dont cost much unless you dial long distance.

  3. If I were you I'd tell my parents about the t-mobile fave five which is 39.99/m. This way you can pick the five friends that you talk to the most and you get to call them and recieve phone calls from them for as much as your want and the bill won't go up. Also with free nights and weekends if you make phone calls after 9pm it's free and all of your calls on the weekend are free. And since you like the text and IM ask them to get you an unlimited message bundle which is 14.99/m and you can send and recieve as many texts, IMs, and picture messages as you want and the bill will not go up.

Check out www.acnwireless.com to look at some phones you might like which your parents won't find new phones cheaper anywhere. When your parents order your new phone make sure you give the the number 01355518 to enter were it says "ACN Representative ID Number"

    Good luck!
