Foxes appear every Wednesday night when we take out our rubbish for the rubbish men next morning.

The next morning our front garden and street is full of our rubbish and food bits, its annoying and embarrassing, how to stop them from coming?!

  1. I used to get this on my way to work every morning, going past a Chinese restaurant. A lockable wheelie bin is really the only way to go.

If you get a complaint from the council that you are not putting yours in bags like everyone else, then tell them you're saving them money by keeping the street clean.

I also happen to think that the 'binliner' is the cause of the upsurge in scavenging birds which also destroy songbird nests, but that's only a pet theory.

  2. Put the rubbish in a bin.

  3. Make sure you tie up the bags before you put them in the bin. Always make sure the bin lid is closed properly. This may mean keeping rubbish indoors until the bin has been emptied so that it is not too full to close. The foxes in my area will only go for bins that are slightly open. They do not go for the ones with properly closed lids.

    Good luck.

  4. I heard if you pee around the bags it'll help - but i think u probably want to go ahead and let them eat ur rubbish than pi$$ infront of ur neighbours!!

like above plastic bins with lids - we have seagulls that pick thru ours, so I diluted bleach into a spray bottle and sprayed the binbags-kept them away

  5. Put the trash bags in garbage bins with heavy lids.

  6. get a bin with a clip down lid to put rubbish bags in

  7. Wheelie bin!

Stops various wildlife eating your rubbish and saves lurching about with a heavy metal bucket...council has dished them out to everyone where I live, so if you're super motivated you could campaign for wheelie bins lol.

This is of course assuming you don't have one already (although they would be some super foxes if you did).

  8. haha rubbish

is everyone here from the uk ? im from canada
