I am an American in Canada and I like having Yahoo.com as my home page but every time I open IE I get re-directed to Yahoo.ca. Does any one know how to stop this? It is very annoying!

  1. looks like somehow your homepage has gotten reassigned.

do this, go to the Tools on your toolbar up to should be under your URL display box.  The bottom one (im using XP) should say Internet Options.

The General Tab box should be on Top and will show what your home pages are, if you are using Explorer 7.0, it will have the tabs, and you can have more than one homepage listed, just one on top of the other.

But see if Yahoo.ca is listed there in the General Box of your Internet Options, if it is, just change it to  http://www.yahoo.com  (if that is what you want your homepage to be)  if you want another page, just enter the URL.

  2. IF YOU HAVE THE NEW ONE #8 GO BACK REINSTALL IT CHOOSE YOU WANT TO CHOOSE WHAT YOU WANT TO USE NOT THEM HARD TO SAY HOW TO DO IT BUT YOU WILL SEE WHEN YOU REINSTALL READ EVERYTHING
