  1. This is not a stubbornness issue but one of training, possibly lack of dominance on your part.

See, the thing is, you should be the alpha of the pack, whom your dog wishes to please.  And it's your job to show him how to do that, by example.  And always without temper.  Commands should always be made in a calm but firm tone of voice, without physical threat.  So, the best way to teach him to stay off the furniture is to make furniture just forbidden--off and on-agains are very confusing for dogs.

What you do is gently remove him from the bed or whatever, then reward him with praise and/or food treats when he is on the floor again.  When you see him get up on the furniture, immediately utter a short, sharp sound like UH-UH!, and gesture or coax him down to the floor, then reward him.  It will take time and patience, but he will learn.

Above all, remember that the best way to win his compliance, in most matters, is to exercise your alpha-ness--just by denying him your favorable attention.

  2. When he jumps on your bed- dont pet him- dont smile- dont laugh-

Just push him off and say no- it will take a while but he will learn its your bed- if you see him about to jump on it just tell him no- and if he listens, praise him.

Take him on walks if you dont- it helps

  3. well im not sure about the bed but what my friend does is put the cousions up so they cant get on the couch they also got a old chair and made it just for them to get on try sticking a loud buzzered under there so when he get on the couch it will sound and scare him off or just try getting him his own bed and chair to sit on but keep telling him no!!!!!! when he gets on yours........

  4. try putting leash on ur dog and every time ur dog jumps on bed or couch, pull the leash down sharply so that he will get down and at the same time, say no in low tone and sharply. if this doesn't work, spray bitter apple or real lemon juice and spray on him every time he jumps. avoiding the face but body. keep doing this at least a week and ur dog will soon realize he is not suppose to jump on couch or bed.
