How to stop my computer from freezing!!!!?

Question

i only rin 1 program at a time not a lot. I have a 2 mps internet speed but somtimes my computer freezes for no reason. Why. I googled stop my computer from freezing and you can download stuff but i dont know if its like crappy stuff or a virus please reaserch it for me or links or tips. I did a defragmentation disk clean up and windows update and created a reastore point to clean my computer. The more effort the most likely youll get chosen no matter if wrong well id like to be right..

Stop it from freezing, RUN LESS APPS!

also get Spybot Search and Destroy, and configure the start up list

If you have more then 6 progrmas runnin when u start on (on the taskbar far right next to the clock)

all those apps make the pc run slower

2 mps internet speed is very cruddy. check your RAM and Proccesor speed. these can be found by going to my computer, right clicking the empty white space, and selecting phropoties. after finding out ow much RAM you have, right click on the blue bar at the bottom of the screen and click tast manager. click the procceses tab. click the "mem usage" button twice. add up all the numbers that are in that colum. if the sum is higher then the amount of RAM times 1000, you need to get more RAM installed. if your processor speed is below 500 MHz, you need to get more proccessor installed. a good program for helping your computer not freeze up is regscrub, which can be found at www.regscrub.weeby.com

You could try robooting your hard drive. when retstarting, rapidly press F12. wait a little, until it shows a bunch of names. using the arrow keys, select Hard Drive, and press enter. this might work. or, go to control apnel, click switch to classiv veiw in the top left hand corner, and double click Administrative Tools. open performace, and wait for the red bar to go half way across the screen. then go to file, save as, and save it on your desktop. then e-mail it to me as an attachment to [e-mail]
