How to stop my personalized settings from deleting?

Ever since I started using Firefox, anywhere from 1 module to all of them on my home page disappear whenever I delete search items from the Google toolbar. It also happens if I use the "Clear Private Data" function in FF. I am not deleting any cookies, and I don't need to log in to my page. It's just that various modules are deleted from my page and I need to manually add them back (a big pain). Any suggestions (aside from removing FF, because I really don't want to use IE7)??

I don't have the answer. I have exactly the same problem. Some to all modules just disappear. Then I have to go through the add content routine again. It may be fine for a week or my do this multiple times a day.
