  1. I am so lazy, I know where you're coming from.

This is what I've done and it has really helped me.

Make a list of the things you MUST accomplish and the things you would like to accomplish.  Do the items on your must list and cross them off as you go (so satisfying).

Then, pick ONE item off your wish list and do it.  Tell yourself you don't have to do anymore than that one thing.  Do this every day.  Some days, you'll only do that one thing, but you'd be surprised how many times you'll find that the thing you've been putting off for weeks only actually takes 10 or 15 minutes to take care of.

I am a working mom and I've used Flylady.com to help get myself on track when it comes to house work.  I strongly recommend you check it out.  It has helped me tremendously...not the items they sell, but the tips for becoming less lazy and the email reminders to do the things I need to do.

    Good luck

  2. Yeah! I am so glad there is someone out there like me!

I really think that the best way to beat being lazy is to change the way in which you process your thoughts.

Negative self talk has, I feel, alot to do with how lazy we can become!  Changing our view and altering our self talk is a great way to kickstart a rebellion against laziness!

After a while, you re-condition yourself to look at things differently!

Believe me, I am a fellow coach hugger from way back, this really works - takes time but the end result is far more beneficial than laying around and developing depression!

  3. Tell yourself to get up and get to work, or you're gonna kick your butt!
