  1. I suffer from panic attacks as well.  I have found that closing my eyes helps.  I know that sounds ridiculous, but I sort of accidentally figured that out.  We had a tornado in our town and I was in the shelter with several family members.  I went into a full panic attack and almost put myself in harms way just to get out.  I was more prepared to take my chances with the tornado than I was with the small, crowded shelter. My mother wouldn't let me out but she turned the lantern off.  It was the only way I could handle being in there....complete darkness.   Just close your eyes and breath.  I'm sorry you are suffering.  I didn't have problems until I was an adult and I'm sure it's hard for you at your age.

  2. Panic attacks or anxiety attacks can ruin your life. Talk to your doctor and be very honest about your feelings. Let him prescribe something that will help you get over the attacks. Some medicines do work in slowing you down and getting your life back on track.

  3. I definitely know what it's like and a lot of other ppl do also. You sound very up set right now. Panic attacks are very treatable, you can treat it with therapy alone or meds. + therapy. You will learn techniques that you will use where ever you go.Once you get the hang of the techniques you will begin to have less and less. If you can't see a dr or therapy, visit your local library, there are all kinds of good books to lead you how to conquer this. I did and I am very happy. There are still times when situations come up that i am not comfortable with but i protect myself and avoid it. It's ok, you don't have to do things you don't like all the time. There are certain things we have to do , like supporting our self, eating, sleeping, bathing etc. but riding roller coasters, no way man, not me.It's ok to say NO. And walk away. Don't hang around friends that put you down or don't respect your feelings. Real friends will be in your corner. Love yourself and realize how uniquely you are made. There is no one else in the world like you, your dna, your fingerprints, God has a plan for you, seek it out and dream BIG! You will get thru this, baby steps, baby steps, and befor u know you will be very secure and happy.

Another thing I did was joined a support group, that is so so helpful. Now get moving(if nothing changes, then nothin changes)you gotta do the do. ok, ok

  4. Just stay calm, and remember these things can't hurt you. Closing your eyes and just relaxing helps, and also having family/friends close by who understand and offer support is really good. By thinking about it, it's probably making it worse. Just chill out, and try to enjoy yourself :) If it gets bad though, you may want to talk to your parents, and get some professional help. Don't worry your not alone, I also have pretty bad anxiety at times!!

  5. Calm your thoughts, eat low fat food, drink less cola soda and don't stress.

It won't hurt to check your blood sugar too, it takes a minute.

  6. talk to your doctor. there are over the counter medications you can take but because of your age, you can still overdose from these medications.

with that said, because of your age, try taking childrens gravol or a herbal med. called Valerian or drinking ginseng or green tea will help calm you down before you do anything that might give you an attack.

  7. I have been through this so many times over a lot of years.  I saw my doctor but didn't want to take any medication for it i wanted to work through it.  It was hard but worth it.  The moment you feel it coming on you generally have to try and think of something else, keep busy, keep talking to someone or just breath slowly, count 1, 2, 3 breathing in then the same outwards and only think of that, don't let the attack take hold of you.  I find if you keep talking to someone it distracts you and you don't think about it which helps it go away.

  8. just keep doing things, youll be ok just got to pinpoint the problems.

practical out and about : use a paper bag keep one on you at all times and breath into it, itll stop the dizzy feeling and calm you down after a while, if you dont have a bag use your hands cupped firmly around your mouth and try and breath in through your nose and out through your mouth

avoid anything with caffiene in it ( chocolate, coffee, tea, fizzy pop )

avoid red meat especially and other processed foods.

go see your doctor and make your you dont have asthma, try and get hold of a therepist

excersize 20 mins a day for mental stress issues

    meditation.
