How to stop phone calls that rip people off?

my grandmother lives alone and is old and does not understand who calls her and who doesnt, yes i know you will say why doesnt she live with my family but its not that easy at this moment. Anyways she receives calls from tons of rip off people such as :

Police handicapped funds, Police commision services and a ton of no name rip off places that ask for money and they guilt my grandmother into these scams and take her money and we cant let this happen any more its really getting bad. So is there anyone to call or a thing to buy or something to do to stop these calls. Please help

that is so sad!!! they know exactly whom to call....the elderly to rip them off....I have the same problem at home with my grandfather....he is so lonely that he actually loves to talk to telemarketers..!

he keeps them so long on the phone that they don't wanna call my number anymore......they afraid that he keeps them to long on the line!!

the best thing you can buy is the caller-ID manager....and only pre-programed number can get thru!!

sign up your grandma to 'No Calls List' in https://www.donotcall.gov/.

if they are 091 numbers you can bloke them from getting throu by phoning who ever you nan is on a contract with like bt or talk talk and ask them to block calls from all 091 numbers as these are all scams anyway.
