How to stop pop-up's???

I have an antivirus program and it dont help, i have all my settings on high!! Whats FREE to get rid of them??

IF YOU HAVE INTERNET EXPLORER,

OPEN BROWSER PAGE

CLICK ON TOOLS

CLICK INTERNET OPTIONS

CLICK PRIVACY

ENABLE-TURN ON POP UP BLOCKER.

ALSO, DOWNLOAD

GOOGLE   OR  YAHOO TOOLBAR

THESE HAVE POP UP BLOCKER.

DOWNLOAD AVG 8, ANTIVIRUS PROGRAMME,INSTAL WITH

AVG TOOLBAR.,IT WILL HELP.

UPDATE AVG, AND SCAN YOUR SYSTEM., FOR VIRUS.

firefox 3, also, pay attention to the sites you are visiting when the popups occur; ...in my experience, good sites usually dont have popups, just like good neighborhoods, but you know what happens when you go into that bad 'hood, right,  ..

i'm just sayin'...

fyi, if u already have FF2 or FF3, and you still have popups, then you have spyware, trojans, or viruses running on your machine.
