How to stop sweaty pits?

i have a bad sweating problem. i always sweat under the pits. what is a really good deodorant i can get at walmart that will help prevent this problem?

My sister had this exact problem as well! She went to the Drug Store and bought an extra strenght something.. I forget the name but its under "Extra strengh" Good Luck >3

I would recommend that you use a combination of deodorant and powder.  Antiperspirants are the ones that have aluminum salts/chloride, but that works by closing, blocking/clogging the pores (less sweat, but then there are other problems).   Get a basic non-oily deodorant and use with powder or create your own deodorant powder at home that you can use alone or with deodorant.  If used alone mix 1/2 cup corn starch and 1/2 cup baking soda then pat on with a damp wash cloth.  You can add fragrance, but I usually don't.  

Try to take a cool shower before bed at night and use powder especially if I don't have the air on.  After working out, wait 30 minutes for your body to cool down before even going in the shower and don't use really hot water, that way you won't continue sweating during and after your shower.

I agree with the above Dry-sol response. It contains aluminum chloride which shrinks your pores through the night and prevents sweating for up to 3 days. There is also an OTC product containing aluminum chloride called Certain-Dry. It is 12% aluminum chloride whereas Dry-sol is 20%. I would try the Certain Dry first as it is cheaper and doesn't require a prescription. If that doesn't work, then go to your doctor for the Dry sol.
