  1. Go to www.donotcall.gov and register your phone number.  After registering, you can file a complaint against the company if they keep calling.

  2. You can sign up on the Do Not Call List, but in all reality, some how, they come up with a way to call you, so you never really get rid of them. When they call tell them your on the do not call list and your going to call your attorney if they keep calling, and they usually stop calling.

  3. Enter you number in the do not call list.  It don't block all, but it helps. https://www.donotcall.gov/

  4. Everytime one calls,  politely (Or not politely, both ways will work) ask for them to not call back because you're not interested.

If you answer the phone and its an automated message, press # 10 times. It will s***w up their machinery and remove your phone number from their directory.

^do the same thing if you pick up the phone and don't here anyone talking

  5. Theres two ways:

    A. Act like you are interested and leave the phone so they talk to themselves. They will eventually stop calling.

    Or...

    B. Do what this guy did -

You can also ask politely for them to stop calling but what fun is that : )

  6. look at (best prank call ever) on youtube

  7. www.donotcall.gov

  8. You don't say where in the world. I'm answering for UK.

I don't know how to prevent the first call from a company but when they do call say the following [politely is best]

    "Is this an unsolicited call?"

They will confirm that it is

    follow with:

"We do not accept unsolicited calls to this number. Please remove my number and details from your database. Further calls will be reported to OfCom. Please can you confirm that you will do that now?"

You can do the same with cold callers to your door. Just omit the OfCom bit and ask to be a 'DNC' at your address [Do Not Contact]

They will stop calling. I guarantee it.
