  1. Cleanse, tone, and moisturise your face before you start.

Place a clean, damp sponge on the freezer.

blot face with a single ply of tissue to get rid of excess moisturizer. Apply a primer. I use Clarins Instant Smooth Perfecting Touch.

Apply your makeup as usual. Then, using the cold sponge, press lightly all over your face, taking care not to swipe off makeup. This will tighten the pores, thereby allowing makeup to sit better on your skin.

    HTHs!

  2. Buy a foundation primer. MAC do one, so do smashbox. just do a search ! It will help it stay flawless all day. And always set it with powder.

  3. If it's going patchy it's either being touched too much or not being applied evenly. Try moisturising before putting foundation on, and using primer is good too. Personally, spraying hairspray lightly on your face gives you foundation a dewy look, gives it staying power, and makes your eye make up last. Just remember to close your eyes.

  4. Try not to touch your face

Use an eyeshadow primer for your eyes to stop your eye make-up from smudging and a foundation primer to stop your foundation from going patchy.

Apply powder on top of your foundation.

Just keep a compact mirror and some make-up in your hand bag just in case and just re-apply your make-up when it goes patchy (:
