  1. I had silk flowers for my wedding bouquet.  I put them in a box with some tissue paper and 14 years later they still look the same.

I would not use moth balls. They would stink when you took them out.

  2. store your silk flowers in a crush proof plastic storage box...you can ad fragrance (floral ) from the craft store to the box so that the flowers will take on the scent and then refresh it before using the bouquet. the box can be purchased at your local walmart for a few dollars. I do florals for many occasions and mine have always looked great.  I would not use moth balls, the smell is hard to get out of them depending on the quality of the florals.

  3. put them in a plastic bag with moth ball to make sure that there is not infestation of moths or other fabric chewers for a few days.  then transfer to one of those vacuum bags.  when youre ready to use it, remove it and air it out for a couple of weeks.  good luck and happy nuptuals

  4. store the flowers in a box large enough that they won't get crushed.  use acid free tissue paper to surround them with and don't add anything else.

moth  balls will stink!  DO NOT add any scent at all as it will grow rancid in that time frameand will ruin your flowers.

just acid free paper and a good size box and store them in a safe dry place - not the basement!

    good luck hun!
