  1. When you say bent, are the actual barrels bent or does the stock and barrels not line up. With some side-by-sides there is a slight "bend" if you will between the stock and the barrel, to accommodate different shooting styles, if the barrels themselves are bent, I would find a nice display rack and hang the gun on the wall, forget shooting it

  2. This is definitely not a do-it-yourself job.  This requires special tools and special skills.  You will have to take it to a gunsmith.

  3. It depends what you mean by bent. Describe how they are bent, and by how much. Also how it happened if you know.

  4. To do it safely, it would have to go to a gunsmiths and also be re-proofed, depending on the value of the gun, I would say new barrels is the way to go.

  5. I have heard of many ways to straighten a bent barrel, but I would recommend taking if to a gunsmith. Working with metals for over twenty years, I can tell you that straightening a bent piece of metal without stretching and weakening it is very difficult. The barrels will probably have to be separated, straightened, and re soldered. It might cost less to buy new barrels.

  6. Don't do anything if they are just slightly bent.*
