  1. well i have curly hair in the morning and i have to go over it a couple times at the roots and the bottom with my straightener and i also use a chi... so thats what i do to straighten my hair !!! hope this helps!!! (:

  2. It's supposed to get curly again after a while ;)

  3. I have slightly wavy and very coarse hair, but this is what works for me to get it silky smooth and straight:

    1) the type of iron you are using is important - Ceramic plates are a must (metal ones are bad for your hair). I use a Remmington Wet2Straight because it affordable and works well for me, but if you can afford it invest in better one.

    2) never in your life think about straighting your hair when it's wet. Dry it first and let it cool.

    3) buy a heat protection spray for you hair. I use Ion that I got from Sally's Beauty Supply (if you don't have one near you, you can buy it off their website). I tried using other supermarket products and they just didn't cut it.

    4) separate hair, and straighten small sections at a time no more than twice at time (if it needs another run through the straighten, let it cool first)

    5) once you've straightened your hair all out try using a small about of Biosilk. It doesn't take much at all! I think i've had the same bottle for about 5 years now. :)

  4. first wait till your hair is completely dry. spray in some heat protectant before you start, i would recommend 44 iron guard by chi. then blow dry your hair with a round brush starting with cold air, then hot air. after you're done, put in a relaxer adn shine serum, such as silk in fusion by chi. then section your hair starting across on the bottom. tie or clip up the rest. take about a half inch to an inch of hair worth and straighten from top to bottom until it is completely straight.  then put your hair to the back and go over the very middle back, most likely you missed it a little. then do the rest of your layers. there should be an average of 5 layers depending on how much hair you have. do every piece in the layer. go over any kinky parts and have patience. do each and every single strand of hair. my hiar usually takes 45 minutes to an hour includoing the blow out which is uslly done without precision in 15 minutes. i use a chi straightener and it's amazingg. i would invest in one. you can find good prices and amazon.com or overstock.com. get the plain black one inch one can youn can also use it to curl.

  5. If you always want it straight, you can professionally get it straightened.

  6. make sure you use a straightener. i have curly hair too but i found out that taking sections by sections works really  well and don't take too big of peices of hair when you straighten it. and you can also use spray to define the straightening of your hair it works really well

  7. an iron?? thats what my mom uses

  8. just straighten it as you usually do but maybe straighten less hair at a time? if you get too much hair it wont straighten very well

  9. You first part it.

If you have thin hair, should only have to part it 2 times.

    If thick, several.

Grab a pony tail holder or a clip.

    And section it off.

So, fors the underneath, the middle, then the top.

Its pretty easy if you have a good flat iron.

    Hope this helped.

Oh and try to get some heat protectant when you can.

Or thermal care shampoo if you plan on doing this alot.

  10. quite honestly i would say the quality of your straightener and its temperature will make the biggest difference. i used to have a conair and after an hour my hair would start to fluff up, and if it was the slightest bit humid it would frizz. i bought a sedu straightener about 4 months ago and it has been one of the best investments i have made. it makes my hair that used to be frizzy/super curly/thick completely manageable and pin straight. the best part is that it stays this way until i was it again and even rain doesnt make it frizz. i always make sure to use a heat protectant like the garnier fructis sleek and shine serum or the tresemme heat protectant made for flat irons. i normally just work however much product is recommended into my hair and then starting at the base of my neck i divide my hair into sections and just go from there. sometimes when im done ill put in a little bit of a smoothing cream, but you dont have to.

  11. do what you would normally do but just put herbal essences seriously straight or something along that line its a spray its really good

  12. Well- this is what I do(:

I have very course wavy hair, and after i blow dry it, it looks very poofy!

what I do is to take a hair clip  and clip everything up except for the bottom layer, your going to start at the root of your hair and go over it 1-2 times and go straight down, when down with the layer of hair let some more of your hair down and repeat the process till you get to the very top layer of your hair. if you have trouble reaching the back of your hair take a comb get the very root and go over it with the straightener...

it also depends what kind of straightener you have I recremend the CHI, its excellent..

  13. You can go out and buy a nice straightener. If you do it in the morning, it should stay straight. However, if it gets curly in the middle of the day just straighten it one more time. Hope this helped. Good Luck!

  14. wash your hair and condition it with the purple sunsilk. then while your hair is still damp, work the same kind of sunsilk creme into it, you will find it in the shampoo isle, and let your hair dry overnight. in the morning put parts of your hair up in an elastic and straighten the part that isnt, and then take little pieces down and straighten them, but put your straightened hair into an elastic  so it doesn't interfere with your non straigtened hair.

the sunsilk will help keep your hair hydrated and prevent it from getting split ends.

  15. Buy a hair straightener, use a straightening serum OR alternatively you can get it chemically straighten at the hairdresser or iron it on an ironing board.

  16. do what your doing

never go straight from wet to dry, let your hair air dry or use a blowdryer

what I would do is get some heat protection for your hair

which you can buy at a salon

or use hairspray once your hair is straight

    test these ideas

    or expand off of them

your hair is different then anyone elses

so you'll have to find what works best

  17. I get up and straighten my hair every morning.. of course this really isn't good for your hair... mine is really wavy..

i have to have a ceramic straightener that gets really hot

I straighten strand by strand just like i would do if i were curling it..

fyi.. the big square straighteners(like from wal-mart) are hopeless

  18. when you get out of the shower dry your hair whit a blow dryer then spray a lil hair hair spray in your hair a lil then straighten it then spray a lil more hair spray all over your head but keep the can far away so hair doesn't get hard then blow dry it one more time right after you spray in the hair spray and then bush it out and u should be good

  19. i get that to.

    what i did was:

    1. put your hair in a pony tail, but leave the bottom layers of hair out, then straighten that.

    2. each time let go of a little more hair out of the pony tail and straighten a little bit at a time.

    also::::

if you dont mind hairspray, spray your hair with firm hold, and then stragihten over the spary.

  20. hair straightener

but if you want to KEEP it straight for atleast 3 months, use a chemical straightener

  21. I advise you to get a better straightener.

I have one that cost $50 and it works great.

My hair stays straight all day.

All I do to straighten my hair is...

    1. Put one side of your hair in a low pig tail

    2. Take small pieces of hair and straighten it

    3. switch sides

    4. Once your done with both sides put all your hair down and make sure you get the back.

I have long hair so it takes me 20-30 minutes to get my hair amazingly straight and my hair is CURLY!!

    Good luck!
