  1. You cannot straighten teeth without braces. If the crookedness of your teeth affects your bite, can you not qualify for any type of funding. If it really bothers you: work hard, save up and pay for it yourself. If you are still young, perhaps your parents could help you out. Assuming you celebrate birthdays (not everyone does!), you could always suggest a small contribution to your braces fund. If the alignment of your teeth does not affect your bite then how crooked are your teeth? Many do actually get by with a small amount of crookedness in the teeth....depends on where on the globe you live I suppose.

Make it a mission to start saving from now if it really bothers you much. Keeping putting in a bit of money, every day if you can and within no time at all you should be working towards the funds. Keep patience.

  2. Move to the UK and get residency. I got mine for free with the National Health Service. A very nice job they did too.

  3. If the crookedness is not really that bad, you can try pressing on your teeth hardly every morning to the position you wanted it to be. it works for me. no pays, no nothing. and it works!

  4. You might look at a local Dental College... they usually provide Dental services for a fraction of what most Dentists and Orthodontist do.

  5. i'm broke but i did it, it was sooooooooooooooooooooooo worth it.  it cost $4,500 and took 2 years.  thats the only way to go, i think invisilign costs even more.

  6. a brick to the teeth, or if you cant find a brick, try throwing a rock at them

  7. (WESTERN DENTAL)

Mine were 3,800 and only 100 monthly payments no credi check:)

    worth it

  8. I don't think there is a way outside of braces.  Maybe you should have an orthodontic consultation anyway.  They don't cost usually.  The ortho will lay out your options, check your insurance coverage (if you have any) and then set up a payment plan with you.  You are under no obligation to go for it though.

  9. Honey, I know what you mean by not being able to afford braces. My beautiful daughter had very crooked teeth which I could never afford to have fixed. When she was in her early 20's and had a good job she got her braces. All together it probably cost five thousand dollars, but she has the most beautiful smile that makes me proud. Have you ever heard of Bartering? That is where you swap something for something. Well if I were you'd I'd go to a local dental place and ask them if you could work for them after school and on Saturdays and your pay would be to help you with your braces. Who knows someone may just help you.
