How to stream video to PCDJ Vj?

How would I stream video from a camcorder to a program similar to PCDJ VJ? What type of camcorder would be best? What kind of other equipment would I need?

I think you'd need a camcorder that has a USB streaming feature - some Sony camcorders have it.  An alternative would be to get something like Canon's DV Messenger, which allows a DV Camcorder to be used as a webcam.

Assuming that low light performance is more important than accurate colours, go for a large single cdd rather than 3 small ones.

I don't know how you plan to use your video setup, but I'd have thought a tripod would be a good thing to have, maybe with remote control if you're really serious.
