How to string a weed whacker?

Can anyone tell me in the simplest way how to string a weed whacker? If it helps it's a craftsman gas powered weed trimmer. I am using .080 string.

It depends on what model trimmer you have. Most trimmers you have to push in the retractable bottom that the string comes out of and turn counter clockwise. There is a spring in there, so when you take it off look at how the spring is seated for re-assembly. Your best bet is to go on-line to sears and look at the manual for the the model that you have.
