How to study english well?

Many have learned English on TV. Various variety shows should be included. They provide the conversational side of language, though I don't look at them. I prefer documentaries.

One element that I used to study German was to read as a cross reference a German bible. After all the negative connotations of German, the bible gave a refreshingly different approach.

i think,you should study first the 8 parts of speech. Second, you should read the whole english dictionary for you to familliarize the meaning of those words that you don't know. Third, try to formulate some english sentences for you to practice your diction. Then the last is you should practice to read it for you to improve your pronunciations of the english words.
