  1. The other person advised you in really good manner,,,,i appreciate his answer

first of all enjoy the chemistry, try to be more curious about element and reactions, don't think it as a burden,,, it's a very good subject,,,  just needs time and a creative mind....

you should study every line twice or thrice b'coz every line have some hidden meanings....

do you know there are families of reaction in chemistry...so try to learn the basic mechanism of reaction of every family.... if you know the basic mechanism,,,,,,,, then you can make any reaction of that family by yourself......

in chemistry you should write everything lot of times and then learn,,,,,,,,  study from any book that doesn't mean 2 or 3 books,,,,  just one book is enough,,,,  just go for the main properties of every element and the basic mechanism of every reaction........

try this,,,,,,,  first of all i was very bad student in chemistry,,, and then my teacher advised me to do this,,,,, and now i can recall most of the things of chemistry just at the blink of the eye,,,,,,,,,, so plzz try,,,,,,  you will surely gain confidence.............

    good luck

  2. Take good class notes in spiral bound books. Type the notes up every day when you get home. Do your homework well before the deadline.

Read the textbook more than once. Read ahead; keep at least two days ahead of where the teacher is. Get another textbook and read that, too, or read whatever's in the library on that course. There are some good summary pages covering an entire course's content, usually printed on plastic and only a dollar or three. Get one of those. If you get a bad grade on a test, see the prof and ask for advice as to what you did wrong and what you need to do to improve your grade.

Sometimes it helps to study with someone else. Now ask me how to study for Physics...
