  1. #1: DON'T CRAM!! Cramming is actually one of the worst things you can do for a big test. I've crammed for a test that I *thought* was hard (but it really wasn't) and I did really bad but then I studied for a few days before a test that really was hard and I did better than I normally do on tests. Besides, if you cram you're going to be really tired the next day (and don't think an energy drink will fix that problem, I've tried that too, you'll just crash and burn later and you'll have to go to the bathroom during the exam which likely isn't allowed).

#2: Only study the stuff the stuff you don't know. Let's say you've done the foil method in math for multiplying 2 parenthesized equations for a linear and a constant term and you know it already; move on to something else (for example linear programming) which you don't know. This will make you a lot more organized and it'll cut down on the time that you spend studying.

#3: Stress is actually one of the worst things for you (it'll also make you stay awake anyways so it's more important than #1 really) but if you really need to just stop studying and do whatever else you want to do. This will keep your mind relaxed and calm and it's one of the ways I keep myself calm during exam times.

Ah, you remind me when I was younger. Anyway, try this:

    1. Study one subject at a time, at a specific time. Study

the subject you like best and concentrate on it. There

should be NO interruptions (no iPods, MP3 players, etc,

friends yakking on the phone, no texting...)

    2. Take your worst subject, grab a friend who is knowledge-

able, and do a buddy-system study. You ask questions,

the friend answers. Your friends asks, you reply.

Be near a computer where you can ask questions.

*I have this feeling you're rushing and cramming, not a good way to study.

    3.   Take your inbetween courses and spend at least 1H on

them. You have four courses, so don't cram one after another. Between each study session, get up, walk around

your home, relax on a chair, drink a glass of water or tea or

juice. Take a quick jaunt outside for a walk (few blocks).

Study a new subject again. If you can dictate notes on a recording device and play it later, even better.

    Worked for me.
