1. Well what do you want to go to school for? Education, Engineering, Nursing, Hotel/Restaurant Mangement, Biology, etc. etc. Give us some more information.

  2. Hi, I had the same questions last year. Now I am getting ready to go study overseas this fall!

1). First you must find a good school for you by matching what your needs and interests are.

For example, do you care what state you will live in for 4 years? Do you know what major you want? Check rankings, such as us news and world report ( http://colleges.usnews.rankingsandreview... )

Look for schools that are good in the majors that interest you. Most students will find 4-10 schools that they want to apply to.

2). Find out application details, like deadlines (regular decision, early decision), scholarship information by researching websites of the schools you are interested in.

3). Prepare to take SAT, TOEFL (iBT) and maybe AP if you can. These might be necesary or helpful for your application. There will be lots of vocabulary to practice!!!

4). depending on if you did early decision or regular, you should hear back from the school between November and April of Senior 3 year.

My final advice is don't wait to get started, start figuring everything out as soon as possible. it will make your life easier because you will get busy, trust me

To help you, you can also use some organisation like princeton Review ( www.princetonreview.com ), Taisha (http://www.taissa.org/) or there are many others.

    in fact..the most useful that i found was Prep U ( http://www.prepyou.org )

。。their foreign experts helped me apply. i was admitted by U Penn, Haverford, but I chose Wellesley College.

I hope this helps and best of luck to you. If you have specific questions, just ask on here. Never give up your dreams!"

  3. hi I'm also a foreign student I just graduated a few months a go pick the school that u want base on your career choice some schools are more expensive than others keep that in mind, apply for a student visa ASAP! get a good score on the TOEFL GOOD LUCK
