I'm staying at an AH-MAZING resort in Waikoloa, Hawaii and I leave in 5 days! I can't survive an 11hr flight, and i'm gonna have to wake up at 5am, so that means i'm gonna be off my sleeping pattern, because i dont sleep on planes. I never have been able to. HELP ME SUVIVE!!!! Obviously I have my flying rules, like juicy sweats and mark eckos, and obviously bring a jacket, and an ipod, and your cellphone. Reading on flights gives me a headache. HELP MEEEEE!!!!!?????? (thanks!)

  1. I know what you mean. The longest flight I've been on was a 9 hour flight, but it wasnt that bad. Time actually goes by kind of fast because you get exicted about where you're going and stuff. If you have people going with you, then that wont be bad at all because you can talk to them. You think 5am is bad? I have to wake up at 2am in a few weeks to leave for my flight lmao. Just bring lots of entertainment, and sleep ON the plane so you wont be tired when you get there! (Also it should pass some time). Bring an ipod, cards (to play with if your going with other people).. do you have something like a gameboy? Bring that. Sometimes there will be a tv on the plane and they'll show movies, so it shouldnt be that bad.

Have fun on your trip! :) lol

  2. you'll live.....

  3. I didn't know you could use your cell on a plane.

    Anyway, get a window seat.

If that is not an option, I would definitely try to write something while on the flight.

A lot of musicians wrote their best songs while in transit.

  4. if you can change your seat, sit in a exit row theirs a lot of feetroom.

  5. how about just try to relax and focus on music or a movie on the plane? That's what I did on an 8 hour flight to England. Just try not to look at the flight map that much because it'll make time go slower. Bring along a coloring book, word search, some sort of video game like a DS or PSP if you have anything like that.

  6. Besides the obvious, DVD player, DS , iPod.

I did this fun, crazy thing once on a long flight. Make up a scavenger hunt before you go. Make a list of people and things to look for while on the plane, then while you are in flight, check them off as you see them (or hear them). For Example:

    People:

    [  ] Business Man

    [  ] Spoiled child

    [  ] Large Passenger

[  ] child less than 1 yr old

[  ] some one who forgot to shave

[  ] some one who had too much to drink

[  ] some one who needs supernanny

    [  ] Talkative flight attendent

    Things:

    [  ] Coach Purse

[  ] Very bright colored luggage

    [  ] Fast food drink

    [  ] Dog

    [  ] car seat

    [  ] surf board

  7. See i had the same problem except it was a 24 hour flight and it sucked, but what i did was bring a couple books- bring either easy reads, or a large page truner. Bring your IPod, and a puzzle of some sort like um...crosswords or that Sudoku thing. Also water, and there's always the movie at the front. Or better yet bring a gossiping friend along.

  8. Don't think about the stress of the eleven flight, think about the amazing resort you're staying at. And bring money to the airport and if there's a Starbucks or something, get something.

  9. try anti-anxiety pills, ask your doctor
