  1. WHat ever you do don't use limewire.  Also If you have an ipod touch you can get them to your ipod without a computer

  2. The best recommended alternative to iTunes is called Anapod Explorer, which offers iPod management through full Windows Explorer integration under My Computer, easy drag and drop iPod transfer and iPod backup, PDA function support, photo and video transfer.

Anapod supports all iPod models available in the market, and all storage capacities. It's also compatible with all iPod firmware versions.

  3. U can't, apple designed the ipod to go distinctively with i tunes unfortunately

  4. iPod will only sync with iTunes, it's the only way to do it. However, you shouldn't have to delete the songs already on there, unless you previously synced up with a different computer to the one you're using now. If you did sync up with a different computer before, there is a way around deleting all your songs, but it's a bit long winded. It goes like this: go back to the original computer, and switch your iPod into 'disk mode'. Then put all the songs you want onto the iPod and it will act as a Flash disk and iTunes won't get confused. Then you can copy the songs onto your computer hard drive, switch your iPod back into iPod mode and put the tunes on as you normally would through iTunes. Phew! It's difficult, but worth it.
