  1. vangion is correct, I just looked at mine and he is dead on the money.....follow his instructions and you will be fine

  2. Unless your magazine is broken, I wouldn't mess with it or try to take it apart. Contact the company that made the magazine if it's broken and you're not sure what to do.

  3. look up the repair guide online for that model.

  4. usually the base plate of the clip will be removable. there may be a button or clip of some sort on the bottom of the mag.

  5. Most quality magazines are designed to be taken apart for maintainence by the user sending them back to the maker or throwing away is ridiculous

I will never understand why shooters feel the need to pay gunsmiths to do the simplest of routine repairs on their guns anymore than I can understand paying a mechanic for a simple tune up on my car

Are we becoming a nation of wimps that are afraid to get our fingernails dirty?

Sorry for the little rant but the asker did not ask how to be a metro gunowner

At the bottom of the magazine is the base plate

There should be a small hole in the middle of the base plate

Stick a paperclip or similar probe into the hole, just enough to  compress the spring and raise the small metal plate up past the dimple holding it in place

Slide the base plate forward past that dimple, just a little

Remove your probe and position your hand so that the spring will not fly out when you slide the plate the rest of the way out

Here's some instructions from Glock the basics are the same for all magazines that can be disassembled the only real difference will be the securing mechanism

  6. It's a magazine, not a clip.  Follow other post, either take it back to manufcturer or throw it away and get a new one.
