How to take apart Logitech Z-560 4.1 Controller?

I have a Logitech Z-560 4.1 and when you move the volume k**b it gets extremely loud and scratchy. I want to take it apart to see if I can fix it on my own. Has anyone had any experience with doing this, or has had the same issue and has been able to fix it? I am up for buying a new one but I would rather fix this if I can.

  1. Try spraying WD-40 from the side of the k**b and then turn the k**b few times. Do this with your equipment switched off.

If your controller had been lying in a damp room for a long time, keep it in a cool dry place for a few days.
