  1. Download and print off this handy guide.  I did the same when I was using my D70 and it was great.

    Please feel free to ask if you have specific questions.

  2. 1) take photography lesson;

    2) search web for free tutorial/tips (especially for lighting);

    3) experiment with different setting/combination in the following order:

    - static object (indoor first, then outdoor)

    - moving objects (outdoor first, then indoor)

    - people (indoor, then outdoor, then action)

    compare the result and setting to learn what's the best setting to use.

    Focus your skills in sharp image, lighting, and choice of setting.

    Digital film is free, so keep shooting...

  3. Huh..?

    you have so much money to spend on these cameras, accessories, and you don't know how to take good pictures by now? lol, anyway, i'll help you. The quality of the images, won't depend on the camera entirely, but the person that's behind it. You could have the most expensive camera in the world, and the latest flash, and still not now how to work it.. lol

    first of all, the pictures that you take in the ' M ' mode are going to look much better in the long run then the images you would get with using the ' A ' mode, and the explanation is that you can control the exposure, and all of that yourself, which could be pretty complicating to someone that didn't know the difference :S.

    first of all, you need to know how to use the manual settings on your camera, for that, here's link from youtube.com, which i find useful:
