  1. Feed it wet food twice a day, about one small can, or as much as she'll eat for about 15 minutes.

Leave dry food out for all day.

Leave fresh water out all day and night.  Give fresh water whenever you feed wet food.

I recommend Wellness or Solid Gold, but Purina and Iams are okay.

    Get lots of toys!

A good litter is Tidy Cats, clean the litterbox about once a day.

Get her a nice kitty bed.

Get a nice roomy crate that will fit for her later on in life.

A feather wand is a great way to bond with your cat and it's great fun for the cat!!!

Set up a safe spot for your cat.  It might be a room, or a little playpen somewhere.  It's somewhere where she can go when you need her out of the way, or at night or when you're gone for a while.  Put all the supplies there, including the crate.  Or, you can just put everything in the corner of the room, so she can go at free will.

Stay home for at least two days after you get her, to watch her and make her feel at home.

    Get her spayed.

Keep her an indoor cat- outdoor cats have a much higher risk of being killed earlier in life, or just dying.

Get her checked out by a vet as soon as possible.  You don't want to be sick from a kitten, do you?

Love it!  Cuddle, play and look after it, and the kitten will grow into a healthy, beautiful cat.

Good luck with the kitten and have lots of fun!!!

  2. You just have to make it feel like its at home.  You get a dry food bowl, a water bowl, a wet food bowl, a brush, a litter box, a carrier, and food, (preferably science diet dry food and wet food), and alot of toys! You have to keep playing with your kitten about every half hour and pay attention to it alot.  Make sure you clean the litter box everyday and change the litter once a week.  Give your kitten wet food about every 2-3 hours.  Give fresh water every day.

  3. The younger the cat the more gentle you have to be. Make sure you don't like scream and scare it and just keep everyone calm until she gets a little older. Only give her a little food and water at a time to avoid choking and make sure she has lots of toys to keep her busy. Clean litter once a day and change it once everyone 1-2 weeks. Also when she is sleeping just leave her alone or she'll get mad. Have fun with your new little friend! Good Luck! :)
