  1. Here's a list of what you need.

    1.  Cage that's big enough for the bird.

    2.  A twig perch with different widths (to exercise the feet)

    3.  A perch with a nail file feel to it (to file down the nails)

    4.  A toy the bird can destroy

    5.  A toy that will hold up for a while

    6.  A mirror

    7.  Cuttle bone (to keep the beak in shape)

    8.  Wood pellets for the bottom (for easy clean-up)

    9.  Food and water holders

    10.  Millet

That's what you need in the cage.  To take care of it you need to take it out everyday for at least 30-40 minutes.  You also always need to keep fresh water in the cage.  That's all you need to do to take care of a cockatiel.  Hope I helped!

  3. okay, you rely on the three main factors a safe environment, food and fresh water. you need a well maintained cage , no perches above food or water, if droppings are in them change immediately. clean bottom tray twice a week you may line this with news paper.

always remember cockatiels love attention it may not screech as much with lots of attention. they have no more than 10% of there food being seed, they like fresh vegies and fruit.

    okay i hope i helped.

  4. I have one name tinker and she is very cute -- i got the name from tinkerbell.

Make sure you clean the cage every week

Change her water-- make sure its not too cold or too warm

I have two waters for her-- one for her to drink in because its small and one that she loves to sit in and cool herself off.

Make sure you feed the bird every 3-4 days-- just keep checking to see if the bird ate all the food.

    Its very easy
