How to take out a factory radio?

i just bought a 2006 toyota corrolla s and i want to take out the factory radio and put mine in can any one help or give me a site that can

  1. You need what are called DIN keys, available in Halfords. In fact if you buy them there I am sure someone will show you how they work

    If you know what you are doing you can make your own out of an old clothes hanger. They look like these ones in the picture


  2. Best to take it to a car audio shop.there are special tools to release the radio if you not sure what your doing leave it to them.They can also make up a small harness which will directly connect the cars wiring to your new radio and speakers.should cost about £30.

  3. leave your window open overnight the local smack head will wip it out for you in seconds

  4. Right this is a bolt in unit like most Toyota's so a simple set of release keys wont do as for most cars..

    your best bet is to go down to your local halfords and they re supply you with any leads or fascia's you may need.. and also fit it for you..
