Question:

How to take super glue off of a surface?

Its been there a good while. its on my guitar (strat) so i dont wanna do anything that might scratch it.

Any ideas?

DO NOT USE NAIL POLISH REMOVER ON YOUR STRAT!!

It will ruin the finish!!

Super Glue is cyanoacrylate. You will need to buy cyanoacrylate remover or debonder. It is available in many hobby and model shops. Look where they sell the plastic models and model adhesives. It is only a few bucks a bottle, and is the only thing that will actually dissolve this glue.

Your only other option is to scrape it off with a very sharp razor blade, and lap the area with very fine sand paper (400, 600, 800, 1000, then 2000).

umm use rubbing alcohol or nail polish remover
