  1. So are you asking how to take good pictures of your dog or how to teacher her tricks?

  2. I have found over the years the best photos I have snapped is when we are playing & throwing the ball for our dog,we've got some classic shots this way.

  3. Teach your dog focus.

When your dog looks at you, say focus and give the dog a treat. Do it again and again and again until he understands that looking at you gets a treat.

This helps A LOT when taking photos. I too have a very fidgety dog, and by teaching him focus, he's taken some of the best photos ever. He's won three photo contests, one of which placed him on the COVER of "Cute Dogs Around The World".

  4. I have found that natural is best.

When they are playing in the living room or outside playing is best.

Keep your camera handy and whenever you catch your dog laying nicely or just playing outside or inside take a picture.

  5. It helps to have two people..  I have a friend with photo forum maybe you could ask him.

Try to get at ground level and this is hard with a dog that is playing.  If you have extended lens then you don't have to be as close to the dog.  It will just take lot of snapping of pictures etc.

One thing we do is put in sit.  and the other person holds treat above the photographers head and rewards.

The person that said to teach focus is right.

  6. All the best pics of my dog i dint even no i took it came as a surprise : )

    Cute pics patient paws

  7. just shoot a lot of pics ( digital is great for this ) and keep the best ones. you will find action shots are best, but keep the camera handy as animals do the cutest things when we least expect it.
