  1. Actually my son doesn't do that. He going to first grade this year has well. He loves school and he can't wait for school to start. He might act like he shy for little while for the first day but he get out of it and join his class. I'm the one that get nervous because the mom that scared of my son getting teased at school or not making any new friends. But he has made friends. Just talk with her and let her you love her and you won't be going anywhere when she in school. She makes friends and school alot of fun. Then keep talking to her after to know how her school day went.

  2. a couple days before school starts, introduce her to the teachers and maybe students if they are around. She should be comfortable with the new surroundings and won't be as jittery.

  3. my son is 3 and begins nursery in september. In the UK the nursery is attatched to school and the kids go either morning or afternnoon. I am dreading it as i know he will cry and ask me to stay! My others did this, but when they were younger...i will just go quickly and not discuss is. I will hate it but believe NOT making a fuss qorks best!

  4. A couple of days before school begins take her to her classroom so she can get used to it. Make her notebooks fun. (The kind you can put pictures in) Fill them with pictures of you guys. Eat lunch with her, see how things are going. She'll get used to it. Its a new grade, new teachers.

My sister did that all the time.  And thats what we did.
