How to tan and not get freckles?

Question

I want to be really tan! How can i get a good glowing tan but not get freckles or burn?! How long should i stay in the sun? wat position? wat spf? please tell me anything u no about how to tan but not get freckles!

r there any fruits or mixtures that will help? any thing u no!?

I think its a 50/50 chance when tanning because sometimes I get more, sometimes I don't. eeek

(If you have freckles already and don't want anymore):

Unless you dot every single freckle with a teeny weeny tiny bit of sunblock, I suppose there isn't anything else.

You're either prone to freckles or your aren't, it's genetic and you can't do anything about it.

Use a self tanning lotion or get a spray on tan instead.

Your freckles ARE a tan--just an uneven one.  Freckles are simply tan spots because your skin is trying to tan all over but it can only do it in certain places.  You're very lucky that way because Girls with freckles are HOT! The more freckles a girl has the HOTTER she looks! Freckles are the first asset I look for on a girl before asking her out on a date. A girl without freckles is like a night without stars. Freckles are so HOT that there are even web sites dedicated to women covered in freckles and the guys who love them. Freckles ROCK!

im mulato and have never gotten a freckle.

but my moms white and she has thousands.

its just genetics. you normaly get them when you burn so just dont tan long enough that you burn. nothing you can really do about it.

Uh.. I tan a lot and haven't gotten freckles.. Why would you get freckles from tanning??

Stay in the sun like 30 minutes to an hour everyday. First on your back for half of it and then on your stomach. As far as the spf, go to the store and get an outdoor tanning lotion, it'll have the right amount of spf for tanning.
