  1. Here you go mate.

  2. Taping is used on the wrists to give a bit more support.

on the head is mostly used by forwards, to protect the ears by holding them closer to the head, ears getting ripped slightly can happen easily in a maul.

I used to tape a cotton wool bandage around my head using electrical tape. It has to be wrapped two or three times around fairly tightly, starting from the forehead, across the temples, taping the tops of the ears down and then meeting at the back.

using cotton or something under the tape saves you ripping your hair off when you take it off.

Or you could get a scrum cap.

    Good Luck!

ps i cant find a site either, ask your PhysEd teacher if you are at school. if not, ask your fellow players :)

  3. I use foam pre-wrap around my head before putting on the tape.  It works.  I'm a girl though and have long hair- i havent tried anything else- for fear of having to rip it out.  I know some guys use eletrical tape- they say it doesn't pull out hair.  Scrum caps work too- if you get one that fits excatly right, if not, then it tends to choke you, especially if you're second row/ lock.
