How to teach a man about womanly things? please please help

my husband is from a country where he was taught never to talk about the body and taught nothing! im going to get pregnant soon and he always says.why cant you make it a girl? and why does it take you a long time to conceve when i buy you lots of chicken and fish etc so your strong and healthy, he serously knows nothing about the body. and his english isnt too great so giving him a book about the body would just baffel him! he is willing to learn

OMG I've known women like that.  They thought you could get pregnant from oral s*x and what not.  I had to teach them EVERYTHING, even how to use tampons.  Umm, I suggest just having fun with it.  Don't be condescending, of course, but just sit and talk with him when you both have time and explain where everything is and how it works.  Ask him what questions he has and try your best to answer him.  If you catch yourself giggling at his ignorance (NOT implying his stupidity), I've found the best solution is an immediate good strong hug and kiss.  That's what I use to let them know that I care about them even though I seem to be laughing at their innocence.

Congrats btw, though I am curious how you're so certain that you're going to get pregnant soon.
