go to your local sierra club chapter they are very environmentally political they will have plenty of info, petitions to sign letters to right a environmental bill analysis

Unfortunately many of them know about it but will not do anything.  There are too many under the table deals with this big companies (oil company especially) made with these politician.  Al Gore was the only one to stress the fact.  I personally do not like him as a politician but at least he was one of the few that cared to make a stand on the climate change issue.  I take him for what he is.  If he wants to take the step forward to make changes to help the globe, then more power to him.  Who cares if he is not a good politician?

It is the "good" politicians that got us in this economical mess to begin with.  a good politician knows how to slime their way in and out of issues and other things.
