  1. definitely hand hand foot foot and demonstrate

she wont be able to get it really quickly- it will take practice

if you want to get really fancy you can take some chalk and make a mark where her hands and feet are to go

i take gymnastics and at my gym this is how we teach the little kids

  2. alpaca.

  3. stand like ur gonna do a handstand with ARMS UP NOT SIDEWAYS! put ur hands down and then kick over then stand up again in a lunge

    hope i helped!

  4. Some kids are more coordinated than others and some kids are more fearless than others.  That is going to determine if they can do it or not.  Practice makes perfect.  Also, if they are left or right handed, they may go at it from a different angle.  If they are scared, have them do a hand stand against the wall so they at least get used to the idea. Maybe try a round off where your feet swivel to the front or arch your back and land on your feet facing the opposite. A cartwheel your feet land sideways...round off ...forward...backwards one (do not know name) you must arch your back to land facing opposite direction.  Sometimes those others come faster than the sideways one.

  5. Stand sideways then place hand..hand..foot..foot

The best way is to model it for them...have them watch you do it.  A cartwheel is not a difficult trick, even little kids catch on quickly

  6. I've been a cheerleader for 14 years and I've also been a cheerleading instructor (with a cheer company) and a coach, so I have taught plenty of cartwheels.

The best way to do it is to start nice and slow and be ready to demonstrate. Find out if the to-be cartwheeler is right- or left-handed. If they are right-handed, have them start standing with their left foot facing forward and their right foot facing to the right (the direction they will be cartwheeling). Do just the opposite if the person is left-handed.

Have them put their hands in the air and then slowly bend to the side- and put their hands down one at a time (right then left if a righty and left then right if a lefty). Then, have them kick their legs over (left foot will land first if the person is a righty and the right foot will land first if they are a lefty).

The first couple of times they do this it will not look like much of a cartwheel, but this is fine as they are learning hand and foot placement and are becoming comfortable with it. Once they get the hang of this, have them do it a little faster and as one motion. Teach them to finish the cartwheel with their hands in the air once they are right-side-up so they could learn to add other stunts later.

Try to demonstrate in both slow-motion and regular time. Please be very careful when teaching this and be there to make sure no one gets hurt. There are ways to spot a cartwheel, but if the spotter isn't experienced, it may just become dangerous. I hope this helps and have fun!!
