  1. Parts of Exodus are really exciting.  There's all that stuff about how to treat your slaves, and how to kill your kids for talking back, and how to sell your daughter as a slave.  And which book was it that God had 40 kids torn apart by bears because they made fun of a bald guy?  That was pretty exciting.

Doesn't it sound like the whole thing was written by a bunch of cranky old people?  That's how it always sounded to me.

  2. It was always so boring for me 4 years of catholic school I didn't learn a darn thing.  Good Luck!

  3. There are songs that teach the books, OT and NT (separate songs).

You can break it down by categories, like Law, History, Major Prophets, Minor Prophets, etc.

You can make a contest out of it -- kids love contests!  Give them a certain period of time to learn them all, like 9 weeks, or 12, or 6, or whatever seems reasonable.  Give stickers for every 5 learned in order.  Offer a small prize for learning them all in order (every child has a chance to win, and might!).  Go look at a Christian bookstore for something suitable -- a lapel pin, "gold medal", pencil or bookmarker, ask them at the bookstore for suggestions.
