Question:

How to tell guys you stopped smoking because of birth control?

I was an on and off smoker and now I am on birth control for medical reasons, and I want to know what should I say to guys when they ask me whether I smoke--should I just say "I'm on birth control"?

Btw, I am going to be a senior in high school, so guys can be a bit immature, FYI.

  1. Just say no thanks. No explanation required.

  2. just say you quite who cares what the reason is...and if they ask just say its a bad habit or make something up

  3. Just say no. It's your choice and your body, not theirs.

  4. I don't think you should have to tell them why you don't want to smoke , and if they ask just tell them to stay out of your business .

  5. Just tell them you quit because you wanted to. Say its for health reasons because you want to be a healthy person.

  6. you don't have to say why you quit, just say you don't want to. it's not that big of a deal

  7. Ricky, being on the pill puts you more at risk for cancer so it's advisable to not smoke.

Just say 'I don't smoke anymore'. Pretend like you had to go through a lot to quit and maybe they'll just leave you alone.

I have to go through the same thing too, but I trust my friends to not act immature about it.

  8. Why would you even bring up why you stop smoking. When they ask you if you smoke say No. And if people ask why you smoke say because its unhealthy. Why are you asking this? Why would you say that?

  9. One question what does birth control have to do with smoke. Last time I checked you could smoke while on BC. I'm 13 so I wouldn't know I am a Freshmen in highschool.

  10. You shouldn't have to. Frankly, it's none of our business. If they ask, you tell them you quit. They ask why, you tell them "medical reasons". We like a bit of mystery, anyway.
