How to tell if I have a data plan with T-Mobile???

I have a phone that can access the internet and I would like to start using that feature. I would like to know how to know if you could find out if I had a data plan like how you could check how many text messages that you have left by pressing #674#. I can not find out from the bill because it is not payed by me. Is there any other way that I could find out?? Any help would be much appreciated.

Go to T-Mobiles website and from there sign into your account and you can check from there if you have a data plan activated.

Try accessing tzones from your phone.  It will prompt you to sign up for an internet plan automatically.  Once you have a data plan in place, there will be an icon on your phone's screen indicating that the data plan is active.  On my old nokia, I could see a 'G' to indicate that GPRS was available.  On my newer Shadow, I can see an "E" to indicate that the edge network is available.
