  1. Every car from a car lot has to release a car History if you ask for it. But privately Im not sure.


  2. Sand and dirt is your best friend......

    Look under the hood on the frame rails, all cracks and crevises for sand or dirt. Also, checking under the carpet inside is a good idea. if the carpet is NEW, theres something wrong, if there is sand or a moldy smell to it, it has had some type of water damage. Excessive rust of components underneath the vehicle is another hint too.

    Ive done WI DOT safety inspections for 7 years, and have identified quite a bit of flood vehicles..........

  3. Interior smells "Musty " and won't go away.There are high water marks in the paint & the fabrics.
