How to tell if a triangle is acute, right, or obtuse ?

the lengths are 6,8,12

i know its not a right bc a^2 + b^2 are not = to c^2 but how do u tell if its acute or obtuse

a^2+ b^2=c^2   <--- thats a right triangle

a^2+ b^2<c^2    <---thats an obtuse

a^2+ b^2>c^2    <--- thats an acute
