How to tell if someone is nice or mean?

I know when many of you read this question you're going to say "talk to them!", but thats not what I mean. What I'm asking is...is there a way to tell if someone is nice or mean just by looking at them. Is there something similar in all nice/mean peoples' appearance?

Don't go by the outlook or exterior appearance,it may be deceptive.You will only come to know about a person after a thorough observation.

Ted Bundy...was squeaky clean...sharply dressed...and well groomed....He had a beautiful smile..and was considered good looking....

He also was a mass murderer....

You can not look at someone and know their inner nature...it takes time for the real person to expose that nature.

watch how they act, it could be loud talking, behavior or even personality issues maybe that'll work

i guess mayyybee "nice" people have a softness in their appearance.. but i myself cant blindly judge people by the way they look.  maybe the way they act.

I was always taught you could tell if someone was truly nice by how they treated a waitress/waiter.

It's always proven to work for me.
