Question:

How to tell if you Have Cancer?

My dad's parents died of cancer, and I heard most genes come from them.

I just wanted a few tips for when I'm older and might think I have cancer.

Do you get pains in the spot where the cancer is? Do you just go to the Dr if you're curious or do you just notice some random bump somewhere?

  2. Make sure your physician is always made aware of your family history.  Blood tests, now, can often detect signs of cancer, somewhere in the body - finding it can be tricky, so it's best to know just which cancer your grandparents died from (mine were skin, breast, stomach cancer and leukemia).  I'm over 40, so, every year i have a physical which entails a blood test where they're looking for a funny White blood cell count.  Sometimes cancers hurts (stomach) but just as often it doesn't, though constant fatigue is a red flag.

  3. You need to go to your doctor.
