How to tell if you have a good breeding hamster.

how do you tell if you have a good breeding male russian drawf?

If you are seriously looking into breeding hamsters it's best to get one from a breeder.  That way you will be able to find out the medical history of your hamster and find out about the family  history.  

Pet store hamsters aren't always the best choice because you don't always know if the hamster has a certain illness and that could be passed down to their pups.

Healthy ham ham babys :) Look for happy healthy ones that like to run alot. Thats a  good sign.

He is perfect!   you want them to be lively healthy and sweet!! PERFECT!

i work at petsmart and the hamster are perfectly healthy and so sweet.  don't believe anyone that tells you other wise.

well u should no his history first i supose u dont ever know unless u try obviuosly make sure hes healthy and lively and that first then just c how it goes ive had russian dwarfs male and female together for about 3 months now and they havent had 1 single litter not no y

If you know the hamsters blood line, like you know that it is full blooded or something, then your good.

If you bought it from Petsmart, Petco, or any other big pet store then I wouldn't suggest breeding.
