(thatt's what i'm worried about) thanks! (so basically- what temperature does the bread have to be at so it's not raw)

  1. the old tooth pick trick it works every time!

  2. Use the toothpick test! Stick a tooth pick in about 2" away from the edge, pull it out. If it comes out clean- the bread is done. If you don't have toothpicks- use a dry spaghetti noodle.

  3. stick a toothpick or something simular in. when you pull it out it should be clean. if there is batter on it, its not done. (a few crumbs are ok)

  4. Around 375 F on high until it is top brown on top. Then stick a butter knife down in the middle till it reaches the bottom and pull it out to check for batter on it. If the knife is hot and a little moist it's perfectly done.

    Hope this helps you!

  5. Stick a fork or toothpick in the center, if it comes out clean, its done.

  6. Same as for a cake...use a toothpick.  If your worried about the top getting too brown, cover it with foil.  The bread doesn't have to be at a certain internal temp. to be done, it just can't be "runny" or "gooey" in the middle.  Just stick with the toothpick test.  Good luck!

  7. They are sometimes underdone in the top part -- and it's normal for them to be cracked in the middle, too. As long as it's not goo, it will be safe. Lower the oven a bit or the bottom will get too crusty.
