How to tell what is wrote inside ring?

writing on inside of ring but cant make out what it says, what are some ways to be able to read it?

Take it to a jeweller's shop and ask him to read it for you, using his jeweller's "eyeglass".

Try rubbing some non-permanent ink or shoe polish over the letters, then gently wipe it off.  Some of the ink will remain inside the etching, making it easier to read.

Post some pictures up. There are normally some marks that relate to the gold/ silver etc...the hallmark.

The are mourning rings that have inscriptions in and also wedding rings or special birthday presents are too.

Take it to the jeweler and have it cleaned. Then they can read it under their loup and tell you exactly what everything says and means.

PS never rub ink or polish inside a ring....especially if it's a ring you plan to wear again one day. It's a mess to clean it out.
